Wholesale Google Play and App Store Codes: What You Need to Know

Google Play and App Store gift codes are consistently in-demand products in e-pin dealership, thanks to their broad use — from mobile in-game purchases to app subscriptions. This article covers the key points to know about wholesale sales in these two code types.

Who Buys These Codes?

The customer base for Google Play and App Store codes is remarkably broad: gamers wanting to make in-game purchases in mobile games, people wanting to pay for app subscriptions (music, video, cloud storage), and younger users who use a digital gift card to pay because they don't have a bank card. This diversity is the main reason this category shows balanced sales year-round.

Watch Out for Regional Restrictions

Just like console gift cards, Google Play and App Store codes work based on the country the account is registered in. A Turkey-region Google Play code cannot be used on a US-region account. Being upfront about this detail with your customers significantly reduces refund requests.

Choosing Value Ranges

The best-selling values in this category are generally small to medium (25-250 TRY), since most use cases (in-game purchases, one-time in-app payments) don't require large amounts. That said, some corporate customers (e.g. businesses running bulk gifting campaigns) may need higher-value codes.

Instant Delivery Is the Standard

Since both code types can be generated and delivered digitally instantly, customer expectations are shaped accordingly: delivery within seconds of ordering. Working with a supplier that delivers manually or with delays leads to particularly poor customer experience in this category.

Tracking Wholesale Prices

Wholesale prices for Google Play and App Store codes can fluctuate daily depending on exchange rates. Working with a dealer panel that automatically reflects the current rate helps both you and your supplier price correctly.
