Wholesale Guide: Riot Points and Valorant Points

League of Legends' Riot Points (RP) and Valorant's Valorant Points (VP) are among the highest-demand product groups in e-pin dealership, thanks to the sheer size of the competitive gaming audience. This article covers the key points specific to wholesale sales of these two products.

Server Region Matters Enormously

Both of Riot Games' titles, League of Legends and Valorant, work based on the server region the account is registered to. An RP or VP code purchased for a TR-server account cannot be used on an EUW (Western Europe) or NA (North America) server. Clarifying which server your customers play on is the most effective way to avoid selling the wrong product.

Demand Spikes Around Seasons and Events

Riot Games' regular releases of new champion skins, battle passes and special events create noticeable fluctuations in RP and VP demand. Demand visibly increases especially at the start of new seasons and during major tournament periods (Worlds, VCT). Keeping enough stock during these periods creates a significant sales opportunity for dealers.

Value Range and Customer Profile

RP and VP are typically sold in small to medium-value packages. Since the customer base is predominantly young, frequent players, small and repeated purchases are the typical sales pattern in this category — meaning a regular, reliable dealer relationship can turn into high total volume over time.

Code or Direct Account Top-Up?

Some suppliers offer RP/VP as a code, others as a direct account top-up. Both methods have their advantages: code sales are more flexible (the customer can use the code whenever they want), while direct top-up requires fewer steps for the customer. Which method you offer can be decided based on your target audience's preference.

The Importance of a Reliable Source

Riot Games is quite strict about account security; loading RP/VP from suspicious or unauthorized sources can lead to consequences up to and including account suspension. This is why it's in both your and your customer's interest to make sure your supplier is an official, reliable source when working in this category.
